creating client visuals

Sometimes, interior designers need to produce 3d visuals for clients to understand the design being proposed. What will the space look like?

Over the years I have produced many visuals for both commercial and residential clients. These visuals can take time and a professional visual is not the same as having your kitchen visualised in B&Q! Designers and architects who use CAD and other software will often have more training to become 3d visualisers. It can be complicated and time consuming and designing by visuals is very expensive. Coloured plans and mood boards should be used first as a design tool and then or with, visuals.

In my long experience as an interior designer I have used AutoCAD, Archicad, Revit, 3Ds MAX to name a few but I have been really impressed with Neo Foyr...what a great design tool. Here's a design I'm working on at the moment and I have used Neo Foyr to draw up, 3d up and render.

For new interior designers, this can still be a complicated leap so I am also going to teach it on my courses, for anyone who can't learn from a video tutorial or who also wants to ask questions of an experienced interior designer. See more at www.interiordesign-workshops.com

Come and see what this great software can do for your interior design business!
