Service Description
This 3 day Cad course is aimed at anyone who wants to begin using CAD to save time and add to their existing skills. It may be daunting but we will take the mystery out of it and show you what an easy transition it can be. You will need a basic computer knowledge - you may be using Office (word or excel) or similar software. At the end of the course you will have the knowhow to draw up and print plans to scale, space plan and how to save in different formats so you can email clients and contractors. Think how much time you'll save! Throughout the 3 days you will learn: overwiew of AutoCAD platform and menus setting up a template drawing lines and shapes hatching modify tools scale creating and inserting blocks layers and layer states dimensioning space planning in 2D layout tabs plotting and saving to pdf We take the 3 days at your pace and also tailor the course to what you need to learn and relevant topics in your industry. Maybe you are a property developer and are finding yourselves working with CAD drawings more and more. Perhaps you need to know how to change things and print them off or email plans to contractors or also design layouts yourself. This course is great for facilities managers, built environment professionals, developers, interior designers, architects who don't currently use CAD.
Cancellation Policy
Please read the following conditions in full Booking: All workshops, courses and lessons need to be booked and paid for before commencement. Online lessons cannot be cancelled. Confirmation: To confirm your booking, payment must be received and cleared prior to any booked course or workshop. We will then send confirmation and enrollment details for the chosen course and venue. Payment: You agree to pay the fees for courses that you purchase, and you authorise us to charge your debit or credit card or process other means of payment. Payment can be made via credit or debit card by clicking the ’buy now' button on the appropriate page via the website, www.studiospeck.co.uk To qualify for group discounts, bookings must be made at the same time. Companies can be invoiced but payments must be made prior to commencement. We reserve the right to prevent/disable access to any course for which we have not received adequate payment. Cancellation & Refunds: Any cancellation of course attendance must be made in writing 4 weeks prior to course start date, otherwise a 50% cancellation fee will apply. Cancellations within 4 weeks will not be refunded. It is your responsibility to arrive promptly. We may be able to transfer your booking to another date or venue, this is discretionary. Should we have to cancel your booking you will be offered the choice of either another date or venue or a full refund or refund credit of the course/workshop cost. We cannot be held liable for any travel arrangements preventing your attendance. We reserve the right to apply any refund as a refund credit or a refund to your original payment method, at our discretion. If we decide to issue refund credits to your account, they can be applied towards your next course purchase on our website. Refund credits may expire if not used within the specified period and have no cash value. Please note: Online courses and workshops are non-refundable. One-to-one bookings are specific to you and therefore, non-refundable. Health & Safety: We reserve the right to eject any person displaying threatening behaviour to the tutor, or any other person on the course. Lateness: In-person courses and workshops begin at various times, it’s your responsibility to check which course you are on and should you arrive late, courses will begin without you as others may be affected. Course Content: When you buy a course from us, you will not own the course content. All courses are owned by Studio Speck.
