short craft courses

New to Studio Speck are craft courses. I run them for various organisations and they are lovely for people to have some time out from their lives, learn a new skill, and meet new people, great for mindfulness, and a great way to be creative in a supportive environment.

At the moment, I run bottle light decorating sessions, papier mache workshops, air dry clay sessions, pebble art workshops and candle-making sessions. All materials are provided and you can take home whatever you produce. There is ample room at the studio to allow your pieces to dry in between sessions and some workshops are longer than others and have different prices.

Crafting is a great way to take your mind away from stresses and worries, come and have fun and get messy! Don't worry, we have aprons and gloves so your clothes should be fine!

Come alone or bring a friend, the aim is for you to leave feeling better than when you arrived. There is free parking and all materials are provided. 

So take some time for yourself and enjoy learning a new skill. Come and have some fun, we encourage beginners and those who don't mind imperfection. No perfect here! Just some messy fun and a chat! Supervised children welcome.
